Woodwork Solutions was founded by Kevin Koorndyk, the proud owner and operator of his rapidly growing company.  Kevin has been working in the construction arena for over 17 years.  Kevin started at age 18 working for a construction remodel firm based in LA County.  He then ventured into the garage door industry, working with a top Orange County garage door company.  Realizing his creative talent for working with his hands, Kevin discovered the art of woodworks.  As his passion and skills grew, he ventured into owning his own company.  Working and residing in Orange County with his wife and two children, Kevin keeps abreast of home design, construction laws and industry trends through his involvement with ASID OC, The Southland Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau.   Kevin is always anxious to begin his next project and proud to show his last. 

As a family owned and operated company, Kevin has the support of his wife Erika, who manages the business with Kevin.  They have combined their skills, creativity and work ethics.  Erika Koorndyk has been in the Real Estate and the New Home Construction & Design field for over 7 years.   She worked for an urban new home builder selling beautiful town-homes, lofts and single family residences before she ventured out to establish Woodwork Solutions with Kevin.  Unlike most new home sales professionals, Erika was also responsible for assisting her buyers with the design aspects of their new home, such as mouldings, flooring, countertops, cabinetry, electrical and interior colors.  Interior Design is second nature to Erika so studying design was naturally her next step.  Erika is now involved with the Design Program at Saddleback College, making sure to keep abreast of all the latest styles, designs and ways to keep our planet green through simple steps within design.  Kevin & Erika are also Industry Partners with the Orange County Chapter of ASID.  Co-owning a woodworking company and having a passion for design, Erika focuses on working as a team with the top Interior Designers in Orange County as their Architectural Design Specialist.
